The Offices of the Dean of Students and Student Life provide guidance to student organizations interested in planning an event. Before you begin, make sure you give yourself enough lead time and communicate your plans to the a staff member from the Office of Student Life. You’ll find our office staff to be friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We are here to help make your planning process go more smoothly, to make sure you follow University procedures and regulations, and to offer advice and feedback to help make your event a success.
2018-2019 Student Organization Event Form – This form must be submitted at least two weeks prior to an event.
Room reservations are handled through the UniTime system and you will receive an email approval from the UniTime system to verify that your room or table have been reserved.

Contact the Student Organization & Leadership Coordinator when scheduling on campus services from any outside vendors (ex. DJ).
Waiver of Liability – A waiver should be completed for any recreational programs that are voluntary in nature, or other programs that are different than the typical educational nature of the University. Completed waivers need to be submitted to the Office of Student Life.
